Reimbursement for Phototherapy Products

Home phototherapy units prescribed to treat skin disorders are usually eligible for coverage. For over 20 years we’ve worked directly with patients, doctors and insurance providers to help you get the highest level of reimbursement for your home phototherapy unit.
Are you confused or getting nowhere with your insurance company? We'll guide you at through the process.  Contact us online or call 1-800-338-5045 for assistance.

Simply follow these steps:

1. Get a prescription and letter from your doctor

Your doctor will need to write a prescription and prepare a letter of medical necessity for your insurance carrier. To obtain maximum benefits, the letter must explain and document the long-term benefits of phototherapy treatment for you versus medication. It must also detail cost savings phototherapy will provide to your carrier. We have several articles that we can send to your doctor that can help with language and documentation. Print and use this Sample Letter of Medical Necessity
