National Biological's Quantel 308nm technology offers the
physician or phototherapist all the advantages of an excimer laser
source, while eliminating many of the negative aspects of a laser
system. The Quantel 308
offers high energy output with a 308nm
narrowband wavelength, without none of the risks. Quantel 308 is
portable, compact and lightweight.

National Biological's Quantel 308 enables the
operator to treat the targeted area very quickly. The system is
fitted with additional apertures and screens to allow for different
treatment areas that can range from one centimeter in diameter to 16
square centimeters. This serves to protect the surrounding
uninvolved regions. The unit does not involve costly maintenance
like the frequent replacement of filters, aligning, cleaning and
tuning.
